The Vijion Art Gallery is pleased to present its local artists at the Affordable Art fair Hamburg 2022. A centuries-old tradition of wood carving in Val Gardena makes it possible to produce new talents who not only identify artistically with the material wood, but also create new possibilities of abstract art.

The artists Egon Digon and Flavio Senoner show in their artistic work completely innovative forms of expression with the material wood. These stimulating works are intensively dedicated to the research of the line. Egon Digon deforms geometric forms and thus breaks the strictness of the straight line. Flavio Senoner's works are rhythmic superimpositions that strive not for seriality but for variation. Slight variations give his works vibration and tension.
